In certain circumstances we will offer holiday pick ups. These MUST be scheduled in advance and there will be a fee associated with the pick up. Availability will depend entirely on what our plans are in regards to our family time. Holiday pick ups will be scheduled between 9am and 11am.

A 1 night deposit is required for all reservations lasting 72 hours or less
A 2 night deposit is required for all reservations lasting more than 72 hours.
A 3 night deposit is required for all trips lasting more than 10 days
Deposits are non-refundable year round. There are exceptions like deaths in the family or other life events where we will always use common sense and work with you.
We do not automatically send texts or updates during your vacation because we do not want to interrupt you. You are more than welcome to check in from time to time if you want an update. Some people want daily updates or even updates every other day. Taking photos or videos requires an additional person be pulled off of another task because the person monitoring playtimes needs to have their eyes up at all times.
Cancellations must be made at least 20 days in advance in order to avoid any fees.
Cancellation fee is 85% of what would have been your full bill for the reservation.
For trips cancelled that are outside of your control, we will require proof of cancellation from the airline, cruise, hotel, or travel agency.
Refusal to pay such fees will result in loss of being able to utilize our services.
We will allow you to make reservations weeks or even months in advance despite your dog needing to have updated vaccines. For example, if you make reservation 6 months in advance for a July summer vacation, but your dog needs updated vaccines in April, we will 100% allow you to make the reservation. BUT YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MAKING SURE UPDATED VACCINE ARE SUBMITTED. If you are scrambling last minute and we need to help you get vaccines, you will be charged a service fee plus miles driven.
All invoices are due upon picking up your dog and before leaving property. No exceptions
Drop offs and pick ups are scheduled during normal business hours of operation. For boarding reservations. We now have an online system for scheduling drop offs and pick ups. DO NOT schedule a drop off or pick up unless you have a confirmed reservation and deposit, otherwise it will auto-cancel. Please call us at 412-559-4547 to make your upcoming boarding reservation.
At Berkley Creek Pet Retreat, we provide a safe and fun environment for your furry friend to play and socialize in. Our trained staff will ensure your dog is well-cared for and happy.
