Lily's Cookies

Hey everyone, my name is Lily Wolf and I am a student at Mars Area High School. As a rising senior I am constantly berated with the question of "what's next?" Am I going to college? Where am I looking? What am I majoring in? What. Is. Next. 

Normally when faced with these questions I'll make a sarcastic comment and say something along the lines of "Why would I know?" When realistically looking at it, I know I'll go to college, but there's always been that part of me that thought I should go to culinary school. I have always loved cooking and baking, and it is something I excel at, but that's not something I could actually pursue...or is it? I brought this dilemma up to Colin at work one day and his response was: "Well, why don't you make dog treats?" His thought was that I should try it out, see if I really enjoyed it, and make my decision from there. I jumped on this idea and decided to make a dog treat I would actually eat; because there is no reason I should feed my dog something unsafe for my own consumption. My skilled taste tester (Lucy, my mini Aussie-doodle) and I landed on a recipe and shared it with Colin, who was excited by the concept and believed that we could sell it. 

Thus starting, Lily's Cookies.

Colin went about filing for the application with the Department of Agriculture and also submitting samples and analysis. We are now ready to begin production and creating treats that your pup will love!
