Hi my name is Haley Morgan and I’ve been working at Berkley Creek Pet Retreat for 5 years. I am currently going to school at Slippery Rock University for Safety Management and a minor in business. I am also on the indoor and outdoor track and field team. My favorite part about the kennel is getting to work and play with all of the dogs! 

**Haley is the heart and soul of the team. With years of experience, there isn't a single aspect of operations that she is not equipped to handle with the highest level of professionalism. Her contributions over many years have been an integral part of our growth and success. We would undoubtedly not be where we are today without her**

Hi I’m Julia Gagnon I’m a senior about to graduate from Mars High School, I am staying local and going to BC3 for nursing. Animals especially dogs are my favorite thing in the world. I have two dogs of my own they are my pride and joy. I get so much joy from working here with all your dogs. I am heavily involved in our grooming program especially bathing and conditioning treatments. I am so excited to continue to work with your puppies and meet new doggies too! I also hope to meet all you amazing owners 🫶

**Julia is driven by her passion to work and a need to love whatever she does. She has a natural way of interacting with dogs that is well beyond her years of experience. Julia is never satisfied with her work and always thinks it can be better. Her humility within her lines of work will consistently help us improve on everything we do. Julia will be specializing in grooming operations and ensuring a consistent, high quality experience that every pet deserves**

Hi! My name is Eden Gerlach and I will be working with your awesome dogs this summer! This is my first year with Berkley Creek Pet Retreat and I have been absolutely loving it so far. I am part of the 2023 graduating class from Mars Area High School where I played on the girls soccer team. In the fall, I will be attending Edinboro University to continue my academic and athletic career. I look forward to meeting you and your pups!

**Eden has a natural ability to do anything that needs done, and complete tasks to perfection. Very rarely do you have to tell Eden what to do, because she sees it and does it before you can say anything. Her take charge attitude makes her a natural leader which sets the example for others. She is also capable of managing large and complex tasks. Eden will be specializing in all areas of operations and management**

Hi everyone!! My name is Addi, and I am so excited to be working at Berkeley Creek Pet Retreat! I am 17 years old and currently a junior at Mars High. I co-run our social media with Ava G and I also help write the dog blogs published on our website. I can't wait to meet all of you and your furry friends!!

**If you have ever met Addi, she is intellectual/intelligent beyond her years. In addition to normal duties, she will be working to oversee marketing and social media management for our business. Her ability to interpret data, learn a new industry, and connect with the consumers' needs is unparalleled. She wants to be an anesthesiologist, but the reality is that she will be great at whatever she chooses to do in life**

Hi! My name is Mya Lee! I’m a junior at Mars area high school where I am a diver. When I’m not working hard at school or work I love playing with my 3 huskies. I also enjoy sewing and hanging out with my friends. 

**Regardless of what day or time it is, Mya always brings enthusiasm and energy to the mix. Regardless of what day if the week it is, Mya always has a smile and an abundance of energy to bring along with it**

Hi I’m Kailey. I am a sophomore at Duquesne University. I am currently studying psychology and law with a minor in criminal justice. I love dogs and have two of my own. In my free time I work on my latte art. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friends.

**Kailey has an attention to detail that is rare. She has become an integral part of our operations very quickly. Her performance embodies the concept of "leading by example" and she raises the bar for everyone else around her. Kailey is in charge of creating our training videos for all of our new team members**

Hi, I’m Carly! I am currently a senior at Mars High School, and in the fall, I will be going to Clemson University to study genetics. I love animals, and I have been working with dogs for almost two years! When I’m not at work or school, I enjoy hanging out with my friends, playing lacrosse, and taking my dog, Jax, for walks.

**Carly brings an incredibly unique aspect to the team: She is the only person to have experience working in the dog boarding and daycare industry for another company. Her unique work experience enables us to ensure that we continue to push quality upward and continuously find ways to improve upon industry practices and standards. She will be specializing in quality improvement**

Hi my name is Luke and I am very excited to be working at Berkley Creek Pet Retreat. I am a junior at Mars Area High School and I am the goalie for the mars lacrosse team. I also like to dabble in golf when the time is right. I have two dogs Bailey and Bella. Bailey is a German Shepherd and Bella is a Golden Doodle. I’m very excited to meet you and your pets!

**Luke has a calming demeanor that that dogs respond well to and appreciate. Similar to his role for Mars Lacrosse, he is an actor for our team. Regardless of what tasks need completed, or what shifts need filled, Luke is as reliable and consistent as it gets.**

Hello! My name is Lily Wolf, and I am very happy to be working with your dogs this summer! I am a junior at Mars Area High School where I play on the girls soccer team. This is my first year working at Berkley Creek Pet Retreat, and I have enjoyed being able to care for all these incredible dogs. I’m excited to meet you and your dogs, I know they’ll enjoy their stay!

**Lily is someone that consistently speaks what is on her mind. This unfiltered, and much appreciated approach ensures that we constantly improve. She also has an entrepreneurial spirit and was the driving force behind starting a homemade dog treat company. Her endless work ethic combined with the desire constantly improve is going to have a significant impact on the future of our business**

Hi, I'm Evan Wright and I'm excited to be working at Berkley Creek! I'm 17 years old and I am a senior at Mars High. I play running back on the football team. I have my own dog, Lulu, who is a Bichon Poodle. I love working with the dogs and I can't wait to meet all of you. 

**Historically, we were unable to hire men to work with dogs because, in this environment, dogs tend to prefer the presence of as female staff member. Upon numerous recommendations, I took a chance on Evan. He single handedly changed the face of our organization forever and has raised the standards for everyone. He has a demeanor that the dogs not only love, but respect. As a worker, he is a model for consistency and excellence and we are beyond grateful to have him on our team.**

Hi, I’m Mackenzie Carmody and I am currently a sophomore at Penn State! I’m majoring in kinesiology and getting a minor in marketing. When I’m not at school, I enjoy hanging out with my family and friends! I’ve always had a passion for animals, especially dogs. I have 2 dogs at home, Griffin and Kiki. I also foster dogs through the local shelter in State College. I cannot wait to meet you and your furry friends!

Hi, I’m Jenna! I’m going to be a junior at WVU this fall, where I study Elementary Education and am a member of the dance team. When I’m not at school or working, I love spending time with family, friends, and my mini labradoodle Belle. This is my first year at Berkley Creek and it is nothing short of amazing. I can’t wait to spend time with all of your pups, which I will love and care for like my very own! 

Hi I’m Josh Dunham and I am going into my sophomore year at the University of Miami. I’ve grown up in Mars my entire life, and even have a berkley creek lab of my own, who makes my family complete. I have thoroughly enjoyed spending time with the dogs here at Berkley Creek, and can’t wait to meet the new furry faces!

Hi, I’m Ava G and I’m so excited to be working here! I am 15 years old and currently a freshman at Mars High.  I co-run the social media with Addi and also head the organization system for the business! I’m so excited to meet you and your pups 🥰 🐾

**Ava is the youngest person on our team, but you would not know it if you were able to witness her ability to work efficiently and be organized. Because of her unique skills, she has been assigned the most difficult job within the entire organization... keeping our entire business organized. This will include everything from state paperwork, to white board task lists, to social media and blog postings, and so on. Her calm demeanor and ability to never be frazzled makes her ideal for this role**

Hello, I'm Eric Proie, and I'm 14 years old. I'm a freshman at North Catholic High School and a member of the golf team. I reside in Mars, and I used to live in Wexford. While I don't currently have any pets. I have a strong passion for working with dogs.

**Eric is Colin's nephew. A few months back I was leaving family dinner and Eric asked if I needed any help. I decided to take him up on the offer and what I quickly discovered is that he has a natural ability to read and interpret dog behavior in a fast paced environment. He is a natural and has quickly become an integral part of our nighttime routine crew**

Hi! My name is Ella and I am a junior at Mars  Area High School. I am a goalie on the lacrosse team, and a local club team. When I am not working or playing lacrosse, I enjoy hanging out with my friends and family. I’m very excited to work with your dogs!

**In a fast paced environment, it is easy to become overwhelmed at times. Ella’s natural ability to stay calm and work through Each task is something that is increasingly rare in today’s world. Her success and focus on the lacrosse field has translated well into her work here. When faced with might feel like an infinite number of tasks, Ella has the ability to stay focused regardless of the situation**

Hi! My name is Maddie Wolf and I am a first year at Vassar College. I play on the women’s soccer team and plan on majoring in biochemistry or neuroscience on the premed track. I love animals and am so excited to meet and work with all of your dogs!
